Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro has launched a sharp attack on the United States, saying Washington wants to “govern the world” while failing to take care of its own people back home.
Maduro said millions in the US still struggle without housing, food, education, or relief from drug addiction yet America lectures the world and sends weapons abroad “claiming they will save others.”
His remarks come amid rising tensions between Washington and Caracas, with both sides trading accusations on policy, sanctions, and humanitarian conditions.
