Bangladesh’s National Security Adviser Dr. Khalil-ur-Rehman, speaking at the Colombo Security Dialogue in New Delhi, underscored the urgent need for South Asian nations to “navigate the complexities of regional security together.”
Reaffirming Dhaka’s commitment, he backed a “stable, peaceful, secure and prosperous Indian Ocean region”, stressing that the Indo-Pacific’s safety is central to the economic and strategic future of the entire neighbourhood.
The Colombo Security Dialogue brings together key maritime partners; India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh to coordinate on counter-terrorism, maritime surveillance, and emerging security threats.
